Global Dissemination Kickoff – Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of SCN8A

Please join us for the launch of the FIRST-EVER Global Consensus on the Diagnosis & Treatment of SCN8A, a historic milestone for the SCN8A community. This achievement addresses the crucial need identified by families and clinicians for a unified approach in caring for and treating those with SCN8A. Developed through a rigorous scientific process and supported by global partners, the International SCN8A Alliance has compiled insights from leading SCN8A experts and families worldwide, culminating in two pending journal publications in the highly esteemed Epilepsia.
This global group reached consensus on a wide range of topics in SCN8A including: diagnosis, phenotypes, treatments, comorbidities, and counseling/information needs of families.
In this session, you’ll hear from clinicians and families who played a central role in developing this vital new resource for ALL SCN8A clinicians and families to freely use.
