In addition with fewer than 1,000 diagnosed cases worldwide, every family that engages helps advance research and foster a stronger, more informed community. Together, we can make meaningful strides for all families affected by SCN8A.

As a Family Partner, you will:

• Be able to join regular family education and support Zoom meetings tailored to your experiences.
• Access our private SCN8A Caregiver Community on Facebook to ask your questions, find and lend support to one another, and learn more about SCN8A.
• Have opportunities to meet with the geneticist who discovered SCN8A can cause epilepsy and SCN8A father and researcher, Dr. Michael Hammer.
• Receive updates on SCN8A research and findings.
• Learn about opportunities to participate in research and advance SCN8A research.
• Have an active voice in shaping the future of SCN8A research and care.
